Got these to replace my worn-out Super Terras 6 months ago and have been wearing them regularly since. The construction and materials appear to be ok, with some exceptions, such as the belt (see below).
The sizing and fit is different to the Terras and Super Terras. I checked the size chart, which said that my inside leg measurement is still a small, and they do sort of fit, but after wearing them regularly for a few months, I wish I'd returned them and tried the regular instead. Not only are the legs shorter, but they seem to have lowered the waistband too, so I get an unpleasant trousers-falling-down-sensation whenever I bend over or sit down.
The thigh pockets are smaller: barely room for a large phone. With my Terras, I can keep my phone in there and stuff an OS map most of the way in while walking: with the XT's, the higher position of the pocket makes it really awkward to put anything in or take it out.
The metal belt buckle looks and feels beautiful. However, it doesn't work very well. If you move around too much, the hook likes to gradually slide out of the loop. There is also not enough friction between the metal and the webbing to tighten the belt: it slackens again in very little time.
After 6 months, the single line of stitches holding the webbing loop together on the opposite end of the belt to the buckle has disintegrated. For comparison, the plastic clip belt from my Terras is still going strong after 3 years of constant use: the webbing loop that holds the…

Very robust construction for autumn and winter use. Fine finishing and marvellous quality.
Plenty of pockets and fasteners to fit with walking boots. Lovely oak green colour.

I’m a 29” waist and got the 30” version. Fitted me well although I think 28” would have been a better fit. It is thicker than the normal Terra pants and is well made. Worn them quite a few times now and very comfortable, is more weather (rain & wind) resistant too.
