great product with one issue
Protects the shoe and sock really well from debris, the downside is the 'attachement cord' that goes below the shoe breaks after running few days in the mountains (i tested this gaiter in TOR330 Race). I tried to change the cord to metal cord but that broke too, i think the cord should be made with thinker rubber, similar to salomon gaiter's, which in other features doesnt come even near to Montane Trail gaiter.

Good for summer walking
I purchased these Trail Gaiters for summer walking & overseas - they are ideal for this purpose. The only reason it isn't 5 Stars is because of difficulty clipping onto my laces, I think a stainless steel D-clip fitted to the boots is the answer.

Montane Trail Gaiters
These are good gaiters for trail running but not for what I needed them for ...Hill walking...also a bit of a faff to put on... So my mistake. I should have read the description more closely!! Hey Ho.
