Built with PRIMALOFT® Gold Active Vent insulation that works alongside our highly breathable FEATHERLITE™ Air fabric to trap warmth and resist wind whilst also allowing moisture to flow freely away from the body.

Zoned insulation weights with 80g throughout the body, for core body warmth and protection. 60g is positioned under the arms, side panels and hood to reduced bulk, increase comfort and freedom of movement. The improved patterning and built in pre-articulation provides an uncompromised fit and freedom of movement, making this hoodie a perfect mid-layer or standalone piece for the active user in cold conditions.

    The jacket I have been looking for for years!

    I have been looking for a cosy synthetic jacket with a regular fit for years (for shoulder season use), but had lost faith that one would exist for women! Those I’ve tried have all had an active fit and felt uncomfortably close to the body or were short. The closet I’d gotten was the Montane Fireball, but the thin arm holes only allow minimal layering underneath. This jacket is sized generously and can be worn over a wooly jumper, or thin active layer, and still looks great. It can be worn long, or cinched at the waist. The neck zips up high and comfortably for cold windy weather.

    I was initially misled by the 32” model wearing a size 10. I am 164cm, 32-29-38 and a size 10 swamped me. Even a size 8 is a very generous fit, although that’s what I was looking for. For reference, size 8 is Montane is usually very fitted on me and I am a 10 in their fleeces.

    The dark sky colour is outstanding and it’s the softest jacket I own. Thank you so much for making this jacket for women Montane! I am hoping the dark sky colourway will remain for the long term in Montane’s line up.
