We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. The Merchandiser will play a key part in maximising our sales revenue across all our channels and will be responsible for working alongside our commercial teams to ensure our products are presented in the best possible setting whilst identifying opportunities to drive sell through. We’re looking for a Merchandiser or equivalent with at least five years’ merchandising experience preferably in an apparel or fashion wholesale/D2C/retail environment who is looking to progress or broaden their role.What you will do – Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintenance of product range, reviewing, analysing and managing the sales and stock levels weekly, monthly and long-term, working closely with our supply and product teams.

Implement merchandising strategies that align with business goals and revenue targets.

Implement strategies to drive success across categories, new products and core styles.

Deliver seasonal product forecasting and range planning, inputting into product development process.

Manage inventory levels and stock replenishment to prevent overstocking or out of stock.

Develop a strategy for proactively managing slow-moving/clearance stock.

Manage visual merchandising of category pages of our D2C channels to optimise sales and performance while consistently thinking of the user journey and any improvements that can be made.

Ensuring bestsellers are consistently fulfilled and slow sellers are merchandised accordingly for visibility and sell through.

Ensure the buying and merchandising strategy is reflected online, instore and through wholesale.

Work closely with the Ecommerce Manager, Marketing and Sales Team to drive sales, conversion and efficiency of the range.

Maintain category level range plans that accurately reflect the planned buy levels and is in line with agreed budgets & forecasts.

Work closely with the Retail Managers to help drive sales, conversion and efficiency of the outlet business online and instore.

Understanding profitability within the category areas and across all channels.

Provide detailed analysis delivering valuable insights to the SLT to support strategic decision-making

Consistently identify new and better ways of doing things to add value, streamline processes and create new opportunities through merchandising.

Analyse and review product performance data in order to report daily, weekly and monthly sales highlights presenting opportunities and challenges with likely actions. Create new reports or updating existing reports for where you see there is a business need.

Collaborate with Marketing teams to ensure digital/trade marketing asset production timeline is delivered on time and to brief while supporting all activities with planning and product suggestions.
About you – Key Requirements:

At least 5 years of proven experience in merchandise planning and execution within fashion/apparel business, ideally in both wholesale and D2C.

Proficient in stock planning and allocation strategies.

Excellent knowledge and experience in managing the full product lifecycle.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Knowledge of inventory management systems.

Excellent MS excel skills.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Creative thinking with attention to detail.

Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, D2C, marketing, and supply chain.

Excellent understanding of product placement and branding for maximum sales impact.

Excellent knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
